Mohamed Wiem Mkaouer obtained his Ph.D. from the University of Michigan-Dearborn. He is currently an Associate Professor of Software Engineering at Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT), NY. His research interests are in the intersection of Software Engineering with Artificial Intelligence. He leads the SMILE research lab, funded by the National Science Foundation. He has over 100+ research papers with multiple distinguished papers and presentation awards. He was the recipient of the RIT GCCIS Best Emegering Researcher Award.
